Dan Brockwell

As the Co-Founder & Head of School at Earlywork, Dan is on a mission to close the education-careers gap. Today, he's building Australia's first tech sales bootcamp, Earlywork Academy, where jobseekers only pay if they land a job. Alongside this, he runs Earlywork Village – the #1 free tech careers community for early-career folks in APAC with 6000+ members.

Dan’s a great leader and an amazing storyteller. In 2022, he was named one of LinkedIn’s Top Voices in Technology, and was listed on The Australian’s Top 100 Innovators. In 2023, he was recognised as a TEDxSydney Youth Speaker.

He has had a diverse start to his career across tech, startups and corporate, working as an Associate Product Manager at Atlassian, an Operations Associate at Ofload, a Project Management intern at Amazon, an Account Executive at Uber Eats, a UX Design intern at Deloitte Digital and a Marketing Intern at IBM. He studied Commerce (Marketing) and Computer Science at the University of New South Wales.

Beyond his role at Earlywork, Dan is also a founding investor at Ultraviolet Ventures, a microfund of emerging founders & creators across Australia.
When he’s not working, you’ll find him singing, beatboxing, running, hip hop dancing, board gaming, playing poker, hiking, or meditating.
