As the Co-Founder and CEO of Birchal, Australia's leading crowd sourced funding platform, Matt is passionate about supporting Australian entrepreneurs to do their best by simplifying the way they raise capital.   

Matt is an experienced financial services lawyer and entrepreneur and has worked in private practice at a top tier law firm and founded several successful businesses. A recognised expert in the regulation of financial services, and equity crowdfunding, Matt is a regular media commentator and contributes to scholarly journals and industry consultations.

He’s at home speaking to a wide range of audiences and is extremely passionate about mobilising retail and wholesale investors to back Australian startups and small and medium businesses.
